- Avid proponent of the Preservation of San Antonio’s historic fabric including homes, buildings, monuments, landscapes and land.
- Founded the Monticello Park Historic District to preserve over 600 homes
- Currently Serve as President of the Monticello Park Historic District Organization
- Established the Monticello Park Historic District Annual Fiesta Home Tour –11 years of Tours Which Consist of 6 Vintage Homes
- Received the Texas Society of Architects Citation of Honor Award for Significant Contributions to the Texas Built Environment for Creation of the Monticello Park Historic District.
- Served and Appointed by the Mayor to the City’s Historic and Design Review Commission
- Active Member of The San Antonio Conservation Society
- Honored with the Texas Heroes Award from the San Antonio Conservation Society.
